THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF GOD

God incarnated to teach us the correct version of the Ten-C. Two thousand years ago He made the Nine to be Ten again. The real Commandment No. 3, Commandment No. 4 and Commandment No. 9 were given; He made clear what they were. The correct interpretation of each of the Ten-C was given. And so the Ten-C should read like this:
First the Giver identification:
2 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of … slavery. EXODUS 20
Commandment No. 1: BUILD LOVE-RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUR GOD AND NEIGHBORS.
29 Hear, O Isra’el, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. MARK 12
31 Love your neighbor as yourself. MARK 12
12 Love each other as I have loved you. JOHN 15
Commandment No. 2: DO NOT FRACTURE OR SEVER YOUR LOVE-RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD BY HAVING OTHER GODS BEFORE HIM.
3 You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to idols or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments. EXODUS 20
Commandment No. 3:  USE YOUR POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD TO BUILD AND FIRM UP A LOVE-RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
6 Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. ECCLESIASTES 5
Commandment No. 4:  FIRM UP YOUR LOVE-RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD AND NEIGHBOR BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SACRED ASSEMBLIES AT THEIR APPOINTED TIMES.
13 Observe My Sabbaths. EXODUS 31
Commandment No. 5:  FIRM UP YOUR LOVE-RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR PARENTS BY HONORING THEM.
16 Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well for you in the land the Lord is giving you. DEUTERONOMY 5
Commandment No. 6:  DO NOT ABORT YOUR LOVE-RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR BY MURDERING HIM.
13 You shall not murder. EXODUS 20
Commandment No. 7:  DO NOT FRACTURE OR SEVER YOUR LOVE-RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD AND NEIGHBOR BY COMMITTING ADULTERY.
14 You shall not commit adultery. EXODUS 20
Commandment No. 8:  DO NOT FRACTURE OR SEVER YOUR LOVE-RELATIONSHIPS BY STEALING FROM GOD OR NEIGHBOR.
15 You shall not steal. EXODUS 20
Commandment No. 9:  USE YOUR POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD TO BUILD AND FIRM UP LOVE-RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUR NEIGBORS.
6 Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. ECCLESIASTES 5
Commandment No. 10:  DO NOT RISK, FRACTURE OR SEVER YOUR LOVE-RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD AND NEIGHBOR BY COVETING.
21 You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor’s house or land, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. DEUTERONOMY 5
We shall scrutinize and understand each of the commandments in the succeeding chapters of this book. Meanwhile, do not think the Ten-C suffered no other corruption. It continues to be corrupted.
In the Philippines (which is eighty-five percent Roman Catholic) the Ten-C is taught along the dictates of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, to wit:
1.       I am the Lord your God. You shall not have strange gods before me.
2.       You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
3.       Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day.
4.       Honor your father and your mother.
5.       You shall not kill.
6.       You shall not commit adultery.
7.       You shall not steal.
8.       You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
9.       You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
10.   You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.
Now take note of the corruptions:
The LOVE commandment is not listed as Commandment No. 1. A footnote is made which limits “Love for God” to the first three commandments; and another footnote is made which limits “Love of neighbor” to the seven other commandments.
Commandment No. 10 is fragmentized into two (as Commandment No. 9 and Commandment No. 10) to hide the omission of Commandment No. 1.
“Do not commit murder” in Commandment No. 5 is altered to read “Do not kill.” Do not commit murder gives the God-worshiper the right to defend himself and, if necessary, to kill in self-defense. Do not kill inculcates the wrong teaching that he should not kill at all, not even in self-defense.
Commandment No. 2 (which forbids idolatry) is limited to Exodus 20:4. Verses 5 and 6 are omitted.
“Observe My Sabbaths,” said God in Commandment No. 4 (Exodus 31:13, Leviticus 19:30). Yet Sabbath observance is limited to one, to the wrong one in fact.
Terrible Consequences. God has spoken but His Word is being corrupted. What’s the bottom line?
God’s instructions are overruled.
False teachings fill our minds. We become ignorant of the truth and accept the counterfeit as genuine.
The light of reason is obscured and the human will goes astray. Our actions and religious orientation become anomalous. They do not tally with the Word of God.
Christianity has continued but not in its original form.
False teachings keep us in bondage. We insist on observing killer lies, take pride in them and espouse them to our loved ones. We are given to practices that disobey the Word and to a mindset that says it’s okay to disobey. We think that what we are doing is righteous and acceptable to God, when in fact it is not.
Division, conflict and alienation creep in as we are given to different faiths.
God is greatly displeased. We miss the mark. The impure stay impure. Lucifer loves it!

  1. High Pastor!

Personally i believe that the Law was given for the single purpose of making man aware of his sinfulness and thus our need for Jesus Christ:
"Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christh that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law." Gal. 3:23-25

"God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 5:20-21

Paul also admitted in Romans 7:9, "For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died." Imagine, SIN HAD A REVIVAL!

Besides, the Gospel of Grace is clear that in the New Covenant, our Abba will Himself write His law in our hearts and give us hearts of flesh which for me means that being Spirit-filled and Spirit-led will always lead to a Christ-like attitude towards life and towards sin resulting in our REIGNING IN LIFE:

"For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." Romans 5:17

Christ's Perfect Shalom be upon all of us,

    Victor
