THE ORIGIN OF MAN

In the beginning God created man. God created him in His own image (Genesis 1:27). God was perfect and so was man, for he was created in God’s likeness.
God was upright and so was man (Ecclesiastes 7:29). Man had no knowledge of evil. His thoughts were pure and his motives, holy (Genesis 3:5). He was like unleavened bread, without any yeast of wickedness in him (1 Corinthians 5:7).
His body was like that of God’s glorious body—ethereal and radiant, shining brighter than the sun (Philippians 3:21, Daniel 12:3). He was given the breath of immortality (Genesis 2:7). Neither death nor sickness nor aging had any hold on him (1 Corinthians 15:52).
Man could move at super-quick speed. All he had to do was think of where he wanted to go and he’d find himself there at the wink of an eye.
Man was given to royal treatment. God treated him as His son. God was King so everyone in His kingdom considered man a rightful prince. He received blessings in a fashion that was “exceeding abundantly” (Ephesians 3:20 nkjv). He did not know the meaning of poverty or want. He had access to everything that God owned (Luke 15:31) and could appropriate them at will.
God was overflowing with love and bliss (1 John 4:18, Matthew 25:21) and so was man.
God was omniscient (1 John 3:20) and omnipotent (Matthew 19:26); and man had access to His omniscience and omnipotence.
God gave him dominion. That means he had both the authority (the right) and the power (the ability) to act for and on behalf of God. God appointed him god and ruler over all creation (Psalm 8:6)—even over Lucifer (Genesis 1:28).
Man did not know the meaning of fear.
God was constantly at work, always creating (John 5:17). He gave man unbounded creativity.
Immense joy, serenity and contentment overwhelmed man. Life to him was a celebration.
The relationship between God and man was perfect, harmonious and joyful.
